My special thanks go to John Olson (jrolson), style author of the design AERO-BLUE for the friendly approval, to be able to use few graphic elements for the CommunityChild design into my headerbar.
John stole all Aero assets from Microsoft. It's not his permission you need.

Re: What is the most "modern" phpBB style?

I saw this website with many paid themes, one of them called "Milk" which turns phpBB into a really modern looking forum: http://preview.themeforest.net/item/milk-multipurpose-responsive-phpbb-31-theme/full_screen_preview/16119149?_ga=2.157480954.1337627401.1578841172-1364390866.1578668483 Is it a ...

Re: PHPBB marketing section or forum for owners?

There are a couple of dedicated communities for that kind of thing, such as TheAdminZone and ForumPromotion.

Sadly the latter is very inactive these days, looks like TAZ is still fairly active though :)

Re: Where can I see a 3.3.0 board in action?

You can use software such as BeyondCompare to compare the contents of your colours.css against the shiny new one in 3.3x .

You can future-proof yourself by adding your own CSS in a new stylesheet, then calling it at the end of stylesheet.css.

Re: phpBB 3.3 style changes

No changes from 3.3.0-RC1 to 3.3.0 Marc ? There's 2 line changes in posting_attach_body.html, and of course the version number updates in style.cfg If you use template inheritance I guess there's a good chance this file is unmodified, and therefore you probably only need to do the .cfg version numb...

Re: Issues with new style (Graandnew)

Hi there :)

Yes, phpBB has a native 'homepage' option which will add a 'Home' link to the navbar.

ACP -> General (tab) -> Board Settings

It's achieved through this extension: http://www.agsqds.live/customise/db/exte ... last_post/ .

Works in 3.1 and 3.2, but will break on 3.3

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.3.0-RC1 Release

Why has the phpBB logo changed from "creating communities" to "forum software"? The logo was changed in line with our updated logo page . We believe that having "forum software" there will make it more clear what phpBB is. ;) Prosilver (3.3.0-RC1) does not conform to the strict spacing guidelines s...

Re: modifying the mini profile

Hi there :) That area is called the postprofile, it's referenced in the content.css stylesheet: .postprofile { You can add something like: font-size: 1.2em; . This is a multiplication of the style's base font size. You could also add a specific number which is a bit more predictable, eg: 12px After ...
